What Has NOT Changed: Dr John Geyman to Analyze, Characterize the Defects of the PPACA Legislation at 24th National Conference on Primary Health Care Access

Doctor John Geyman, Professor Emeritus of the University of Washington and a Senior Fellow of the Coastal Research Group, will lead the second plenary session of the first day of the 24th National Conference on Primary Health Care Access, April 8, 2013, at the Grand Hyatt Kaua’i, in Koloa, Kaua’i, Hawai’i.

Dr Geyman has been a long time critic of the principles on which the nation’s health care insurance reform legislation, the Patient Protection and Accountable Care Act is based.

His critique has been included in his book Hijacked: The Road to Single Payer in the Aftermath of Stolen Health Care Reform, several chapters of which have been summarized on this website.

Dr Geyman has been the author of several books on health policy in recent years, including Breaking Point – How the Primary Care Crisis Endangers the Lives of Americans described at Senior Fellow John Geyman’s New Book on Primary Care Crisis to be Featured at 23rd National Conference.

Charles Q. North, MD, MS University of New Mexico

Dr Geyman will lead the second plenary panel of the first day of the 23rd National Conference on Primary Health Care Access.

Reacting to Dr Geyman’s presentation will be Doctor Charles Q. North of the University of New Mexico.

Dr North, who previously functioned as chief medical officer of the Indian Health Service at both national and regional levels. He is a Senior Fellow of the Coastal Research Group and of the National Conferences on Primary Health Care Access and a noted advocate for social justice and of national and regional investments in public health.
